Wood gasification boilers are a highly efficient and effective heat source for your central heating and domestic hot water.   Gasification occurs when gases released from combusting wood are mixed with a regulated supply of oxygen. This creates inverse burning ( gasification ) which results in high combustion efficiences , pratically complete combustion and minimum emissions. The boilers have a large fuel chamber , for example the DC32GS takes logs which are 500mm long , once the chamber is filled , the burn cycle takes around 4 hours. The boilers are very easy to operate and ash removal is simple and clean.  Gasification boilers are installed with an accumulation tank which stores the heat generated until required. This means that central heating is programmable so it is very convenient. Solar thermal could also be installed - the two elements combine perfectly as the wood gasification boiler is used during the winter months to heat both the domestic hot water and central heating system. When the weather improves the boiler is used less and less as the solar collectors take over and heat the accumulation tank.   For additional convenience an existing boiler can also be combined into the system. swansolar.eu © Swan Solutions de Propriete 2011
